Mountain Home Air Force Base, located in Idaho, is a significant military installation that employs around 4,500 military and civilian personnel. The base recently briefed Idaho lawmakers on its efforts to address various concerns, including ongoing operations with the U.S. Central Command. To promote sustainability, the base is working on several projects, such as constructing a water pipeline from the CJ Strike Dam and a new water treatment plant.
