Award-winning historian and La Trobe University Professor Clare Wright OAM has been appointed Chair of the Council of the National Museum of Australia
www.miragenews.comClare Wright attended historians’ forums, as an author and historian, famed for The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka (2013), offering women’s perspectives on the Eureka Rebellion. She has also written and presented history programs for ABC, like Utopia Girls and The War That Changed Us. She earned a PhD from the University of Melbourne, leading public history initiatives at La Trobe and has served on the National Museum of Australia Council since 2022. She was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2020. for contributions to literature and historical research.
